Enhance text tool with text wrapping, direct input, and resizable text boxes
Need text input directly on page instead of the pop out input box. Also need text wrapping for smaller sheet formats for those who type as well as write notes. I would gladly pay the fee for that but not the current input
Text tool now supports in-line editing, text wrapping, and resizable text boxes!
When adding new text, the text is automatically wrapped when the cursor reaches the edge of the screen or page.
Pasting text from the clipboard also wraps the text at the edge of the screen/page, based on the current zoom level.
After resizing the width of a text box, the text always wraps at the edge of the box.

I would really like to be able to change the size of text boxes just like the app lets you resize photos before embedding them in the document. This way, I wouldn't have to go back and take extra time to figure out where I have to break up the text so that it will actually fit within my notes.

Would love to have text wrapping.

How do you go back to the input box if you want it?

The text must go to the next line automatically, at this time it overflows. It must allow alignment.
Translated from:
Alinear texto
El texto debe pasar a lasiguiente línea automáticamente, en este momento se desborda. Debe permitir alinear.

Hello developers,
I just wanted to post a "new idea..." but realise gladly that other users want the paid text input to be more useful. Seriously, this is by far a not well-thought solution in an app which otherwise is outstanding in my opinion. For a year now, I'm using Papyrus (RIP) on a daily basis at university. We're getting a lot of PDFs, in which I do not only take handwritten notes on my Samsung Note Pro 12.2, but I also type lots of text with my bluetooth-keyboard. But I'm always disappoint when I'm forced to use another app with a better text-typing tool than the useless one on Squid.
Please enable a more useful text-tool for more productive use of Squid. This wish is around for at least 2 years now, I hope to see this feature to be improve in near future. Thank you in advance and except for the text-writing, you are doing an awesome job! :D

I use it in school for my lessons. Sometimes i need to type something. Typing into a document is very difficult in comparison to other apps

Would buy PDF editing in a snap if this were made available, especially wrapping and line spacing control.

I would like that the inbox text could move as sometimes it covers important things.

A text box that automatically wraps the text would be great. Or, at least wraps at the end of the page.

Regarding text input:
1) remove the box used to input text. It shud feel like plain text writing,'not into a box.2) so naturally, text ahud automatically go to next line and be visible,in original editing document as well as the exported pdf.
3) please provide palm support in hand writing mode.
Note: all the abive features are available in 'notability' for iOS. pls have a look at it. I really need android to come of age. So i want u guys to develop papyrus and make it better.
I'm a math & phy teacher. Currently papyrus is the only droid app that comes close to meeting my requirements.
Thanks!! -

I agree. I want to use this app to add comments on student papers, and without these features, the typing tool that I purchased is pretty useless.

I would like to second this feature. As it stands the text tool is really only useful to make headings. I think the tool would be more usable if the tool allowed you to drag out a line that defines the width of the text box and any text typed into the box will then wrap down to the next line when it reaches the set width (and it would also be good if this was done on the page not in a popup messagebox).

I love how we asked this a year ago and the Papyrus team has done nothing....

1- The text should be written directly in the document.
2. The text box should be self-adjusting during writing.
3- After writing, the text should be avoidable. -

I am looking for a other app to use because papyrus doesn't work with a keyboard. Other than that, this app is by far the best!

Text boxes are editable, it's just difficult to return to edit them. Open a doc with a text box, select the dashed circle (circle to edit) tool and touch anywhere on the text box. The dashed line outlining the text box will appear and the upper left of the tool bar will show "Done" and "T"; Twp the "T" and the text box will open the box in the editing window. When you finish, tap "Done". Hope this helps.

All our forms are dynamic pdf.... So it would be nice to fill the fields with the keybord (Clean job) then sign as we can do it with papyrus.
