I am currently in the process of naming a beautiful silver-grey shorthair kitten who possesses a very calm and observant nature. While I have been researching various Adorable Cat Names that align with her metallic coat, I am finding it difficult to settle on a choice that doesn't feel overly predictable.

I am leaning toward something elegant, perhaps inspired by natural elements or celestial bodies, that will age gracefully as she grows.

Do you believe it is better to name a cat based on their physical appearance or their underlying temperament?
