Implement a dark theme, preferably black using grey text, as this can make a lot of difference in the battery life of devices with an OLED screen, because pixels get turned off when displaying black.
🌑 Dark theme is now available in Squid10! 🌑
The Squid10 Preview is now available to everyone. Browse notes and folders in dark theme. Dark theme support will continue as we finish migrating all parts of Squid to the new Squid10 design (such as the note editor).
To enable dark theme, update to the latest version of Squid and tap "Try Squid10".
For dark mode in the note editor, we created a new idea. If you're interested in this feature, we'd love your vote and feedback.
This feature does not work at all.
Just tested the beta version.
The new design and folder structure looks awesome <3.
I hope that the dark mode will be extended soon to the notes.

I can't believe they haven't done it since 2013.
I'm using Samsung Notes, and the lack of dark mode is the only thing preventing me from moving to Squid.
In 2021 dark mode is a standard, not a nice to have feature.

Please provide theme change feature in the app🙏🙏🙏
Agreed, I can't use this app until there is a dark mode.
This app would be perfect with night-view option. Please consider this.

This would be the last feature this app needs in order for me to switch from OneNote.
sometimes i have to stay late undelining pdf in the dark and the normal light is too heavy. An option of reading light for night would be amazing
Please do this. Im waiting for 2 year for this simple implementation.
I have visual problem and THIS is the solution!
YESSS PLEASE!!!! I HAVE DARK MODE FOR ALL APPS EXCEPT SQUID ON MY TAB :/
I'll subscribe if you add darkmode/dark background option for paper!!

A possible workaround is inverting colors for the whole system: https://www.howtogeek.com/330247/how-to-invert-the-colors-on-your-android-phones-screen/
Works on my Samsung Tab S3.
Should I upgrade to premium in order to be able to change the background color? The option doesn't appear to me :'(

I have Irlen Syndrome and it can be difficult to focus on white paper colors with text on them. The blank page has a color option which is great, but a similar option should be added for accessibility with notebook and Cornell style pages. S Notes already offers this, if Squid can as well it will truly be the best app of it's kind.
