Ability to choose other cloud services that we wish, public and/or private
While dropbox and box are a step forward, why not just. Allow Squid users to be able to choose whatever cloud services they wish whether public or private cloud service.
I personally don't like dropbox or box services they are very limited in how you can choose what folders files are stored in.

webdav would be awesome! Sad that it seems like it's been ignored since 2019...

I would like OneDrive to be one of the options.

The lack of this feature is making the use of Squid impossible for me. Due to privacy and data security reasons I'm not able to sync my notes with a public cloud like DropBox or Box. We really like Squid but having notes only on a sigle device is not practical nor secure since we will be risking losing all notes in the case de device is stolen or damaged somehow.
You should integrate with some opensource standard like WebDAV or FTP or something like that to allow us to really embrace the Squid in our work environemnt. Another option would be adding local storage as a backup destination (right now local does not allow periodical syncs nor PDF extraction), having at least local, will allow us to implement our own sync/backup processes in top of that. Right noew we dont have any option

With the ongoing data and privacy breaches by various tech giants, I would prefer to sync my notes on squid to self hosted cloud services such as nextcloud. Please add support to atleast one private cloud service so we have a choice of not having to rely on public cloud services.
