Windows App
I would like to vote for resuming support for Windows devices. Squid is a great app for recording tutorial videos with a pen (just enough features, responsive, and easy to use). I realize that you have limited resources, but I wanted to put the vote out there.
We don’t disagree that there is a market for a cross-platform handwritten note taking app! We would love for Squid to be available on all platforms. We’re a small team and we don’t currently have the resources to expand to Windows (or iOS). We hope this will change someday!

Not being able to port to Windows due to lack of resources is one thing, taking away perfectly working app is another. My old Vivotab Note 8 has old version of Squid installed and working perfectly on Windows 10 but you can't make that version available for download anymore? I call shenanigans.

I LOVE running squid on my Note Pro 12.2 tablet however, Samsung is no longer developing the O.S. for this device (Android 5.1). I am starting to have compatability issues with MS office documents on this older machine....considering Windows 10 Galaxybook 2 but MUST HAVE SQUIDNOTES!!!! I have been an evernote user for years but it does not come close to squid functionality. PLEASE ADDRESS THIS as many users will be forced off of the application over time....

Expand to Windows? What do you mean? You already had a perfectly fine windows version. Frankly, I am a bit upset that it was apparently discontinued - and even without notice, as far as I can tell. This is very unfortunate, as I had still been using the app regularly without realizing that the Dropbox export had stopped working. So now my recent notes are basically stuck in the app. Not cool!

I did not realize until yesterday that the Windows version is no longer supported. Needless to say, I am not very happy about this. I'm fine with not getting regular updates. I understand that the resources for development are limited. But at least the basic functionality such as Cloud Backup - a extra service I paid for - should be maintained.

Yes, I love Squid on my Note 10.1, and I want to upgrade to a 2-in-1 with Windows 10. I almost considered getting a Chromebook Tablet instead, just so I can run Squid. But there are other advantages for my work that I'd rather go Windows 10. Heck, I'd even pay for it separately, as long as I could sync my old notes, and buy it outright. I hate subscriptions, which is why I don't overpay and get Evernote.

I asked about this almost a year ago. Unfortunately, they have no plans to bring it to Windows 10. Unless they have changed course. I still have not found a solution for windows 10 that works as seamless as Squid did for me when I was using an Android tablet. I just let my premium subscription run out since I no longer use an Android Tablet. :-(
Maybe one day they will figure out the market that there is for this to work across platforms to Windows. Many people would love this.

This is a great idea! I'd love to have a squid program on my Windows 10 laptop. I have a 2 in 1 laptop that as a PC accepts input both through the keyboard & the touch screen monitor. When foled over, it functions as a tablet. A squid PC program would be fantastic to use with my laptop! It's monitor is 20 in. & when used as a tablet I can just imagine how easy it would be to write notes and information using a squid program instead of typing everything into it using another program with no ability to sync to my phone.
I have one additional suggestion to add to your idea:
It would be really wonderful if a squid Windows 10 program could sync it's data with an Android or iOS app.
When I bought my first Android phone it took me quite a while to find a Personal Information Manager program with both a Windows 10 PC program and an Android app that sync their data between each other.
The PIM I found I use with an Android app & Win 10 PC Program (dates, appoiments, and tasks, Etc.). With the touch of a button on my Android phone all data wirelessly syncs between both programs effortlessly. It's marvelous because I've had a computer die & was able to restore all my data on a new PC by syncing the data on my phoneit to on was on my phone and I've had our phone died I've been able to just sync all the data back to my phone from my PC

It seems to be in the Windows Store - BUT - it only allows to "redeem code". What code?
https://i.imgur.com/vIM3dn7.png.. alas, I've tried Bluestacks, which lets you run Android apps on a Windows PC. Not sure how that works out with an Android app that uses pen-recognition.
Anyone that have tried, or is willing to try?

please update/add squid for windows 10 as it is by far the most superior note taking app. Android, chrome OS and even IOS have this app with new features and stability. please respond to us.

@David Irick Sorry to say, but ONENOTE is nothing like Squid, as it does not feature an infinite canvas

Its not likely to be back. Its too similar to ONENOTE. Which is a cool app and has iOS and Android versions. Think about it

Along with everyone else, it would be great to use Squid on Windows. Since moving from Note Pro 12.2 to Lenovo Yoga, I have missed it a lot.
