provide a dot grid background
Dot grids provide the bestof both worlds: the vertical & horizontal alignment of a grid + the "clean" feel of an unlined background. 4sq/in and 5sq/in would be perfect.

It would be nice to add the background in the windows app, it's the feature that will make me pay for the app

I would absolutely love the option for a dot grid background!!!
I got used to working with the clean-looking interface of dot grid paper notebooks, like those made by Rhodia, & in giving Papyrus a trial, I'm rather disappointed they aren't an option yet...
On the face of it, seems like this would be an easy & reasonable addition to make... hopefully the devs will be responsive here!!! :)
