Export to file
I'm only able to share my note with other apps such as email. However, no direct export to sdcard or device storage possible. I often use the notes in presentations. So exporting the pdf to Some directory on sdcard or to device storage would be great.
Papyrus 2.0 is rolling out with the ability to export notes to your device or SD card. When exporting a note, choose “Save to device”.

Just have email exchange with Papyrus crew and it seem to be "include in a future release, but not yet scheduled".
This fonctionality is realy important to me to be abble to integrate Papyrus in my development and propose it to our teachers...
The cloud option is not an option for us and the email option is not a good seller to.

You can already export the note in PNG, PDF or JPEG...

wow... I just paid for extra tools before funding this limitation. this app is useless to me without ability to save to local storage to manually share with my main PC. I simply don't want a large portion of my notes in the cloud.

Agreed! This is a ludicrous oversight. Saving the exported files to the sdcard should have been a feature from day one of the export. You're already creating the file. Saving it into a specified location would be a trivial addition.

Same here, I noticed the "Export" function, and was very surprised (and confused) to only see "Share" there, rather than just "Save As".
I am currently taking a ridiculous workaround route by emailing or WhatsApp'ing the PNG to myself, obviously it would make more sense if I can just save the image directly.
Thanks for considering this! -

Works already via 3rd party app like folder sync.

I agree. I bought the export app and it is bizarre in that I see only a cancel button and a share button, snd there is no "OK" button for simply saving to a pdf file. I thought that the point of this app was to export to an area in our tablet.....but apparently wrong.

I second this one. I use a wireless sync when I get back to the office. If I could use Papyrus to create field notes from construction site visits and save them in a folder of my choice, I could then have that folder automatically sync when I get to the office and connect to the local wifi.
It would also allow me to create a report and see how it looks as a pdf before I send it.

Important feature for me. Wifi is not allowed for smartphones at work and it is not practicle to keep using 3g just to get the note on my laptop
