Quick draw / auto shape detection for lines, circles, and other shapes
Auto shape detection. This is especially very important for lines. Notability in iOS has this. If you draw a line and hold it for a second it will become a straight line that you can adjust. Simple convert to shapes will do for rest of the shapes. Best note taking app on the market, my GPA (civil engineer) went up 0.5 just thanks to you guys. Well done !

Pretty much a feature where you can draw a rough shape, then hold at the end of your stroke and the app will "correct" the shape and draw it for you.
Almost every other note taking app has this, it is common across the shelf on other platforms. It will also increase productivity and the speed at which the app can be used quite a bit.

As a math instructor I really need this type of feature as well. My cohorts use Notability on iOS, but I'm an android guy. I need either triangles (right angle) added to the shape feature, or PREFERABLY shape recognition. I just purchased the upgraded version of squid with the hope's those features would be there, oops. I'll likely have to try another app to find this, unfortunate as squid seems pretty good.

Not only that, but I would love the possibility to draw quick graph's (XY, XYZ), and to edit the variables too (XY, XYZ) = (AB, ABC).

I starter using squid but i had to change to inkredible because it reconizes the shapes, im a fan of your work guys, but being able to do my molecules right is a big diference for me, thats why im using inkredible, hope you guys can make this fuature works, i know everyone would be happy with it.

Is this beeing worked on, I can see comments from all the way back to 2013. This really is the main feature i feel is missing for squid to be the perfect note taking tool, especially for us engineering students. Great app so far btw

It would also be nice when those lines snap to grid if you want to!

Or like that is in notability

Being able to draw a scraggly line and it automatically straightening or going into the desired shape would be AMAZING for any student. It makes it so easy to draw diagrams and flow charts. PLEASE add this feature soon!

I would like to have the possibility to hold the pen on the screen for 1 second while writing to make a straight line like in Notability.

I have been a Squid user for at least a year, and something that i would really appreciate is to be able to insert quick symbols like arrows or other shapes like triangles for example. Basically update the drawing features. Thanks for the app and keel up the awesome job.

It can be great!! Especially with the marker to do aesthetic lines

Already written in title. Just make drawing easier. Also make it easier to undo changes.
Should be able to draw a square and then draw inside the square, and then adjust the square without adjusting the drawing inside. I have some coding experience and would perhaps be willing to help if you'd like. -

Plz add mind map or flow chart diagram feature, like we draw circle and its converted to real circle, it's present in apps like DrawExpress on android and Zoomnotes on iOS, where we roughly draw triangle or rectangle or square and its converted to real triangle, rectangle or square.

There are a lot of features missing like different types of pen or support on Lenovo Yoga Book but I think most important is to auto recognize shapes.

Yes, definitely. You should be able to import this drawing objects into Google slides.
