    This and/or the ability to draw a connected polyline in addition to the single line segment would be stellar!

    I think it is a great idea. On the same plain would be the ability to nest notebooks.

    Grouping would be very useful but not essential.

    Yeah, this is pretty essential. Auto grouping by time, proximity or pen 'session° would be great too
