Insert audio recording and playback
I like to record lectures as they are given and have several solutions for doing so. I'd love to see it as a unified function in a single app, and Papyrus is seriously one of my favorites. :)

Have an option to insert audio, so while taking notes in class or a lecture I could also reference the audio I've recorded with my phone

it would be great if they created the option to make a recording and include it in the note

How do I do that? I am not knowledgeable enough it needs to b made simpler. Maybe have a microphone like the phone does so in the notes section u have that option. And a save button as well. If people buy your advanced version, they need to know that they will have all of these options on it as well. So in simple terms please tell me how to do this if it possible right now

ZenPad S 8 and ZenPad 10 have the active pen z stylus. And if it is enable the double input method (erase with finger and write with pen) as in Samsung Note 4 it is fantastic. I don't have the z stylus, yet, but I hope that the level pressure is supported. If it isn't supported I want this feature.
Thanks! -

Allow quick button voice recording. Link time stamp of recording to the text written at that time.

Since I wasn't able to edit my comments earlier I wanted to correct myself because I said "voice recording" when I really meant to say was "audio recording" as well as "palm rejection". Seriously, when these features are added, I will be letting "Audio Note'' go.

Got to agree with AJ, palm guard/rejection would also be a great feature update along with the ability to record while taking notes.

I am a HUGE note taker and voice recorder, the ability to record while taking notes would be an awesome update. Adding this feature would make your app better than "Audio Note", which I would drop like a hot potato.

This featuse is in S Note and I would love to see it in papyrus. I am a teacher and use Papyrus when casting to the projector. Having the ability to record stokes would allow creation of some base material before hand and be able to play back in an easy manner.

Audionote currently offers this feature but it isn't that great. Papyrus is an all encompassing app which needs a few additional features (mainly palm guard and audio recording while handwriting/typing) here and there to surpass Notability.

Oh, and I would easily pay upwards of $20+ to have this feature.

Yes, this MUST be nearly exactly in functionality as Live Scribe. As you write, your strokes are recorded for direct synchronicity with the audio being recorded. You should be able to playback this "recording" of pen and voice in the app (the nearest competitor leaves tracing lines or an onion skin version on the screen during playback .. none of that, please - or at least make it optional) and possibly even cast with Chromecast.
Finally, you MUST be able to EXPORT this "recording" fully into a usable video playback container - not some proprietary thing that only works with the app or some third party plugin. MP4 would be fine as this would allow direct HTML5 playback on most browsers.
... and hey, if you want to offer cloud storage and playback like Live Scribe? Great. But this would be the last thing I'd worry about.

Definitely a good idea. Especially if the audio syncs to the notes.

Sound recording that is linked to what you are writing, i.e. You can "playback" your notes and watch what you wrote as a speaker was talking; or you can tap where you wrote and it plays back from what was being said at that point in time.
