PDF as background for markup
It would be nice if I could create a new note from a multipage pdf so that I could markup the pdf and take notes on it from within papyrus. Perhaps with the additional feature of allowing me to insert normal papyrus notebook pages into the pdf note for adding additional notes that there aren't room for on the original pdf.
Finally! Support for PDF notes in Papyrus is here! We’ve been working on this feature for a very long time and I know all of you have been eagerly awaiting PDF support. We’re very excited to have PDF import in Papyrus 1.0 (available now in Google Play). Please feel free to continue to provide your thoughts and feedback on this idea or submit new ideas related to PDF import.
Thank you all for your patience!

not necessarily just the bible, but the ability to import pdf's would be huge. I'm an architect and would like to use Papyrus to mark up pdf's of my plans. I could also see this being huge for making forms that i could then fill out for standard site visit field reports, etc.

I'd really love an ETA on this... It would be great to know when I will be able to make this app my primary note taking system

This went from a drawing app to a PDF annotator?
There are plenty of pdf annotators in the market already...

Could not agree more. I like the ease of use of papyrus compared to the techy product lecture notes.. Add this feature and I'll pay for it and switch 100% to papyrus.

Mind you, this would be a perfect premium feature.
I'd pay for certain. -

Just saw how long ago this was marked as planned...
I hope you are working on it, as it would greatly improve the usability of my new, shiny Note 8.0

Papyrus is nice as it is now, but quite limited.
With PDF annotation it would immdtl. replace Lecture Notes for me.
Do it!

wow. I only came here to ask for this specific thing and find there are quite a few with the same thoughts.
when I am in a meeting, it is normal for the papers to be distributedas PDFs beforehand.
its also normal to mark up the papers as I read them before the meeting and then make more notes on them during the meeting.
I haven't been able to find any software that would do this effectivly.
please note that multiple PDFs would need to be imported.

In the end we need an application similarly to Snote that allow us to import PDFs and mark them up. We need to be able to keep all of our content in one place... the only down side to this is that then we can only view one page at a time, we can not cross reference things via split screen as Samsung wont let you open an app twice. If you could fix this problem your app would be the king. Do it by making another app papyrus 2 or something that just uses the same files, so we can see all the same files and pull up or notes when we are working out a problem. Thanks your app is great!! I can convert an entire engineering university to it if we can cross reference our pages. Would be nice if we could see a view of many pages at once too so we could find data faster.

I would really prefer papyrus over all the others for taking notes on pdf, because the lines dont get pixeled when zomming is, which is the case most of the time

Having the option for infinite paper below/to the side of each pdf page, or inserting multiple pdf pages to each note page would make lecture note-taking amazing

no ezPDF does not really a good job at this. ezPDF does not offer any hand/wrist detection and probably is not going to add it. However here there is the chance that for example a zoomed input window is added which makes writing much easier. If you dont have something like the note 10.1 writing with ezPDF is actually no fun at all..

i dont think this should be a feature. keep it simple. ezPDF already does a good job at this.

Pdfs just as images might cause the resulting file to be large and slow down the scrolling process. Also when opening the annotated files afterwards in a sofware like adobe reader the pdf will be just images with no way to search within it anymore, right?

I am waiting for this (and other people I know): the possibility to do handwriting notes on PDF documents. When possible, I'll buy a tablet with Android and I will use it and I'll become happier! And I wish to buy the tablet soon!!! (Of course, I need to save the notes with the original PDF on a new PDF... the notes with the original PDF as background, I suppose). I think this is possible with iPad, but I don't want to buy and Apple product.

Adding the ability tho mark up pdf documents would make this perfect. Please add soon. If this could auto launch when the s pen is removed from galaxy 10.1 that would be perfect.
