PDF as background for markup
It would be nice if I could create a new note from a multipage pdf so that I could markup the pdf and take notes on it from within papyrus. Perhaps with the additional feature of allowing me to insert normal papyrus notebook pages into the pdf note for adding additional notes that there aren't room for on the original pdf.
Finally! Support for PDF notes in Papyrus is here! We’ve been working on this feature for a very long time and I know all of you have been eagerly awaiting PDF support. We’re very excited to have PDF import in Papyrus 1.0 (available now in Google Play). Please feel free to continue to provide your thoughts and feedback on this idea or submit new ideas related to PDF import.
Thank you all for your patience!

In what format can I import things (docments or images) ?

Sounds nice, but also sounds like it would have limitations, as PDF editors are not trivial applications. I want to edit my papyrus files from multiple devices, so it seems what is really needed is a way to send papyus files in their native format.

I agree... having the ability to import a PDF like S-Note does would be greatly appreciated. I use Papyrus for all my note taking, however have to constantly revert back to S-Note for annotating PDFs. Please advise when this feature will be added...thx!

Wow over what? A year of being planned and yet still no signs of it being released!? Outrageous!

Please add this soon. It will become my favorite note taking app, I'm tired of taking pictures of slides.

Can't wait to get this feature. I love how papyrus handles annotations on blank pages. Would love it either as a standalone PDF editor or a part of the base Papyrus program. There are no good PDF editors that handle things the way Papyrus would! Would be happy to part with some cash to buy this feature.

This would allow me to use Papyrus as a virtual whiteboard with PDFs made from Powerpoints. On my iPad I use GoodNotes for that, but I haven't found anything like that in Android, and I think Papyrus is the natural option for this, it already has many great features that I like.

I would like this as well.

Or even just the ability to add/delete/reorder pages would be beautiful. I I understand that there are pdf annotation apps out there already, although if if this feature pushes through it would be like sticking post-its on your book pages.

This feature will make papyrus more interesting to use. At first, when I used papyrus, I always seek for this feature. It will make my life at university easier. Please finish this feature as soon as you can. Thank you for your hard working.

I'd love this too. I'm about to start my PhD and I would love to be able to annotate papers using Papyrus.
