Import PDF from google drive
Import from google drive
It’s already possible to import a PDF from Google Drive. If you do not see Google Drive as an option, make sure you have the Drive Android app installed. For more details see http://feedback.squidnotes.com/knowledgebase/articles/1136155

We need the ability to interface with Google Drive without the Android App. This would save us so many glitchy problems with the Android Drive App. Same for Google Classroom!

If you don't see Drive as an option when trying to import a PDF on your Chromebook, you need to make sure you have the Drive Android app installed (this is different than the Drive Chrome app). As an Android app, only other Android apps are shown when sending or receiving files on Chrome OS. We've provided this feedback to Google and I hope they make this easier in the future by allowing access to Drive without having to have the Android app installed. I am also using Samsung Chromebook and can only import from items stored on my device. Why can't I I download pdfs and images directly from my Google drive? Who has control over it? Samsung? Google? I don't understand why it can't be worked on. I really love the squid product and it is perfect for my needs with the exception of this issue.

I am using this on a Samsung Chromebook Plus. I can only import locally. Why would this be an issue with the device?
