Ability to shift page number
When I import textbook pdf files, the page number of imported pdf is slightly shifted. So when professor says the page of textbook, I have to calculate the number. This may look like minor problem and it can be fixed simply by deleting some useless pages. However, I think this kind of convenience-focused app must care about these trivial issues. I will be very happy if you add this simple ability.

Virtual scales similar to zoom notes from iPad
There is virtual scale feature in iOS apps like zoom notes, in which you can select Rectangle or Linear scale or Semi circle or Circle or Square and you resize these scales with hands and can draw them with pen or stylus and can pan with fingers. Adding this feature to squid will be awesome.

Detect & conform to, or if not, give user control over presented aspect ratio
When in presentation mode, papyrus (or android, perhaps) letterboxes or pillarboxes the tablet to fit the presentation display.
My personal perspective is that the whole point of the presentation is the viewers, their view should take priority, and the tablet view should be boxed. If there's no user setting, then that should be the default.
My current workaround is to present only PDFs and instead of creating a new page, I import a blank 16x9 pdf which properly appears on the casted display.

Reconsider the algorithm for the stroke erase tool.
It seems the algorithm used for checking 'collision' between the eraser and strokes could be vastly optimized. For reference, OneNote's stroke eraser works with nearly zero latency. In Squid, it works quickly on a new page, but soon grows sluggish as the stroke count goes up.
Love this app!

Disable the notification that "input method has been changed to finger".
This notification comes up often, and repeatedly, disrupting user input. It's incredibly frustrating. I assume this is happening from some kind of input detection. If I don't own an active stylus, it would be nice to disable whatever is triggering this notification do I can just use the app without interruption.

Have selected areas lockable at the size they are, also rotatable.
Have selected areas lockable at the size they are, so when you move them they don't get changed in shape or size. Also rotatable. Put a dot outside that toggles between lock/unlock, have it menu selectable to be default set as one option and to default afther every use or when toggled. Also another dot for rotation.

Include the Mirroring 360 desktop app as a recognised mirror device
Our work network doesn't support Chromecast and I've had (very) mixed results with Apple TV, Samsung's own cast dongle thing, etc... but have now found that the Mirroring 360 app (http://www.mirroring360.com/) does more or less what I want ... but Squid doesn't seem to recognise it as a mirroring device.
Any chance you could change that? Thanks!

Add a (no gestures) option to the selection tool
A recent update has broken the S-pen side button selection tool for me: I can no longer select large areas. Instead, these unwanted "gestures" keep happening.
I never want these gestures while selecting: all their functionality is already available from the toolbar at the top.
It is making using the application much less pleasant than it used to be since I cannot select using the S-pen button anymore and have to laboriously switch back and forth between tools.
Would it be possible to get the old behaviour for S-pen selection tool back? I imagine it would be something along the…

Export groups of vector splines
Vector export is great to make changes on the computer. Vector lines are exported as seperate splines. If every line could be grouped or joined, it would make editing much more easy. Every break in drawing, results in a new group of splines.

Please make a Squid folder in root of the media storage like in S-Note, Write, Scribmaster, Sketchbook and the most drawing or note apps
I want oldschool. The trick with backup all files in one file to transfer LOCLY to other device and export in squid and ... is too difficult.
I want the simple traditional solution for example like in S-Note with their ".snb" files, where very easily to find2 votes
