More Default Note Options
Would be great to have several options for default notes. E.g. ability to set up a template with a combination of squid notes and imbedded pdfs which could be opened as needed

Resize Images at Import
It would be a big step in saving storage and to share notes if you had the ability to resize images at import, either taken by camera or from Gallery.
A note with 3 pictures inside takes about 20 MB. Android has no option to reduce the size of an image, you can only do it by third party apps. This is a long way...would be nice to have an in-app feature. Thank you!3 votes -
Automatically send email after a new note is created
Hi, I'd like a notification to be sent to my email every time a new note is created in the Squid app. This could be best achieved by enabling Zapier or IFTTT integration ("New note" trigger), the same way Evernote and OneNote already has.

Include creation date information for notes (not just last edited date)
The note has the date of the last editing and the sheets inside the note have no dates. I needed to know the date when I last worked with the sheet (I created it), but I could not find out. I propose to add the date of creation or last editing to the sheet properties.

A LaTeX-based Equation Writer
Hi there! I would like to see a way to compile neat-looking equations in Squid through LaTeX. LaTeX is what professional scientists use to type beautiful equations in text, and right now I see no way of doing so in Squid apart from writing them by hand.

fixed pen size on zoom in/out
When zooming in, the pen size will automatically adjust to the zoom level.
I would like to have the pen size not adapt to the zoom level so I can zoom into an area and take notes that are not relevant at a higher zoom level but are only fully visible when zoomin in again.7 votes -

Pen offset
By writing with my left hand i realized that the point of the S-Pen was always off by 5 pixels or so (depending on which angle you hold your pen). I'd recommend a setting that lets you finetune the calibration of the S-Pen manually.

Make pen color transparent. Not highlighters.
I want to write down with transparent pen, not highlight. Highlighters have retangular ends and I don't like it. Add transparency adjust bar.

Improve PDF software for Japanese/Chinese characters being imported/exported
Since importing or exporting Japanese PDF with text information is garbled and unusable, please change the software related to the PDF function to one compatible with Japanese.

Render page content on top of PDF annotations
Certain notes do not export to PDF as expected. Squid support has advised this is due to variations in how the PDF that was imported into Squid was created (content vs annotation). I hope future versions will allow for reliable export to PDF regardless of the original source PDF.

Add Git as a backup option
It would be far more efficient to post only the diff each time a backup is created rather than post the entire contents of a user's Squid. Adding Git as an option would allow people to configure Squid to push to a GitHub/Gitlab/private git repo.

Fit page size when inserting new page into document
Some documents (especially slides from presentations) have uncommon formats. When I then want to insert a page, I cannot choose the same format. Please bring the option, that newly inserted pages share the same page sizes.

Use keyboard to turn the page
Please make a page go to the next page when I press enter key, or space bar, right arrow whatever while I am using keyboard connected with my tab.
