3. Import more than just PDF files (Ex: .doc[x], .odt, .ppt[x], etc.)

   I'd love to see Papyrus be able to import other file formats, since instructors, in my experience, rarely supply their class notes as .pdf. More often they provide them as .doc/.docx (support for both is necessary, since most non-MS Office programs I've experienced don't save in .docx. I rarely see .odt or other odd formats, but some people might use it) or .ppt/.pptx (I also don't know what alternative formats for those are, but I know they exist). I currently have to use another app to convert these to PDF on my device first, which can take anywhere from 30 seconds to 3 minutes, depending on the size of the document, and then I have to import the PDFs to Papyrus.

   If Papyrus could import these files, it would save me time, and also potentially save users a lot of headaches over messed up formatting, digging up converted files, and hang-ups in conversion programs.

4. Modify the select tool so that it can select a vector if *any* part of the vector lies within the lasso area

   Sometimes it's much easier to make a selection if only a part of it must be inside the lasso. For example, I need to select a long line. If I only have to select a small part of it, then it saves me time having to make sure that I draw a big lasso round all/most of the line. This could also make for a very efficient way of making large selections

5. Feature Ideas for the App

   A great feature for the app would be to have some kind of bar at the bottom of the screen where you can place your palm so that it doesn't affect the screen while you try to write. Even though once you touch with the stylus your hand isn't supposed to affect the screen it still does. Also would be nice to have a zoom feature to allow writing on PDF files to be easier.

   Typing could be modified as well. I'm not a huge fan of the typing in a small box. This app would be great if you could have the feature of typing documents (as well as import documents from microsoft), and have all the personalization features of typing.

   The interface could use some updating. Maybe color coordinating notebooks tabs or making actual notebook icons could aid in visual organization. I'm a student and color coordinating helps me with organizing the topics I'm learning.

   My last idea is more shapes. The shape feature is useful if your trying to work around large pictures and are trying to make the document look more organized, but I think being able to add other shapes for the unartistically inclined would be a helpful feature.

10. Custom Downloadable Community Made Notes (Free) Marketplace

    It would be very neat to have the option to download new note templates. Right now the basic options are there, but it feels limiting.

    It would be even cooler if the community could make note templates (in pdf form) and upload them for other people to use, therefore giving a huge variety of notes. I feel like this community could make a lot of great note templates we would all benefit from.

    This could open up many different opportunities such as:
    * drawing templates (given something and draw rest of picture, or fill in picture)
    * notes for classes (different styles that fit peoples likes, cornell)
    * flashcard templates (to print and review with)
    * vocab templates (page split in thirds vertically, left side has word then right 2/3rds fold over to hide the definitions. Or other templates that allow for easy filling out of custom made tables, with things such as word, other language, example sentence, picture, extra info or whatever you want to make)
    * games (tick-tac-toe, gridlock game, hangman, etc)
    * checklists (groceries, hw checklist, reading checklist)
    * fashion templates (ie, model background to draw clothing on, or clothing to decorate like t-shirt, sweater, pants, shoes, etc templates)
    *etc

    For these notes they could be size locked to the uploaded size that the user created. They would basically be pdfs used at note templates but as of right now you cannot add a pdf as a "new page" in a document you already have. And it would be easy to access for the community.

    The way to use them would be you could start a new note with a template, then when you click new page it would give you options to either make a new basic page (lined, grid, etc), or to make a new template page. It would have the categories (Notes, Productivity, Games, Fashion, Drawing, etc) you could click into and find the template you want to use and above the folders it would also show a few of the most recent styles you used for quicker selection. Maybe when making a new page it would pop up with options such as "same template", "different template" or "Basic Page"(lined, grid, the one we have already).

    There would also be a site online where you could upload and download templates to. Templates would have a moderation process to be visible to the public.

    I feel like this could open up a new world of opportunities for Papyrus.

11. Darkness of highlighter

    Currently each over stroke of the highlighter makes the colour darker. An option could be added to stop this so the highlighter colour stays the same no matter how many times you over stroke

12. Colorblind people take notes too.

    I'm color blind and hence struggle to pick out a color from the palette.
    When selecting colors from the it would be great if the name of the color was shown when the pen is held on it. So I could find Blue or Red.

13. Choose page size when inserting new page

    Choose specific size when inserting a page to a document.

    The new feature that allows to insert a page within a document is great, but the page size cannot be changed from the default page size. That size may not match the current document page size. It would be useful to be able to choose a page size when inserting a page. Alternatively, a better default would be the size of the page where the "add page" command was performed.

18. Export in RTF format

    May already be able to do this another way. But, by being able to export as RTF, the text can be opened in MSWord to be further edited.

19. Google Cloud Print

    Papyrus should work as a printer on Google cloud print. This requires the program poll the cloud print service for print jobs, but then any document can be "printed" from any instance of Chrome attached to my Google account to Papyrus on my tablet.

20. Multiple instances

    Is it currently possible to open multiple instances of the program - I'd dearly like to be able to open a PDF and scribble all over it, and also have a blank page beside it (in multi window mode) to take notes.
