Allow Share with Papyrus
When I using other apps, I always want to share an image or a screenshot to papyrus such that I can do annotation.
Now I only can save an image first and and open a new note in papyrus an insert that image again.2 votes -

Colorblind people take notes too.
I'm color blind and hence struggle to pick out a color from the palette.
When selecting colors from the it would be great if the name of the color was shown when the pen is held on it. So I could find Blue or Red.3 votes -

Auto eliminate (or archive) notes by date passed.
I take notes for events that occur in a certain date. I always forget to erase the notes after the event has ended, so I end up with an excess of notes.
It would be awesome (and I would pay for) the chance of setting an "end date" when creating the note and choosing whether to automatically erase or archive it after the "end date" passes.4 votes -

Shift Input like LN
I'm sure many people like myself use other stylus pens and many time they are not calibrated correctly. Lecture notes allows it's users to fix this by a setting called shift input that allows them to calibrate the digital pens so that there is no offset when taking notes or doodling. This would de very useful and make taking notes in school much easier and enjoyable.

Geo tag name of not with location
Geo tag note, for example the name of the town, or address of the place I took the note in. Also when I draw a shape, box, line, triangle etc... have the option to make it straight or true via a small pop up.

Export in RTF format
May already be able to do this another way. But, by being able to export as RTF, the text can be opened in MSWord to be further edited.

Update the underlying PDF preserving notes.
It would be a great feature having the ability to update the underlying PDF (which was previously imported) with an updated version.
Thinking about how Papyrus works, I hope this will be a great and feasible idea to implement.
I personally use this great app at University and here lecture slides are quite often updated in order to correct mistakes or to add some contents. If I do not want to loose my notes, I have to stuck with the first version.1 vote -
X-Y offset adjustment for wacom feel and samsung 8pi stylus, similar to Lecture notes
wacom feel and samsung 8pi stylus has 1mm offset to the right and down on the samsung P600 note 10.1 tablet. Lecture notes can adjust this, shouldn't be too difficult to implement.
