Being able to add tags inside notes and labels
Being able to create tags, labels and bookmarks to pages would allow you to study directly from a book using squid, also it's very effective when use your own handwritten notes.
Another feature could be having the possibility to add hypertext references similar to how office works.

Move / copy the page from one note to another
Often I would like to move or copy one or a few pages from one note to another, it is very tiring to have to select everything, to have to create a blank page and paste what was selected. It would be much more agile that way.

Math & Engineering backgrounds as insertable shapes
It would be great if all of the graphs in the Math & Engineering backgrounds were able to be inserted as shapes into a regular page.
Even just variants of xy and xyz planes would be useful.

New pen varieties
We need new options for the pens. It would be nice if the app made use of the many pressure and inclination detection that stylus pens have and incremented it on a fountain pen mode.
It would also be nice to have pencil and other types like many other note taking apps. It's sad to have so many great features and be one of the best in the market but lack one of the most basic options...
Plus the app's symbol is a fountain pen, c'mon5 votes -

Lines and cirlces auto finish
Would save a lot of time, when youre drawing for example a straight line and you hold it, that it gets auto finishes into a real straight line like this with the tool.

Support writing in Arabic and Persian languages
Arabic and Persian languages are both right-aligned languages.
I suggest adding the ability to flip the page vertically to support such languages.
Thanks for your great efforts to make Squid the best note-taking app for everyone..!!♥️5 votes -

Method for erasing
Erasing with one finger is an idea with potential, but everything else on my phone uses one finger for panning -so I'm never going to learn it. So here's my idea:
1. One finger pans.
2. Double tap with one finger and it goes into erase mode. Some feedback should be given that this has happened.
3. Now one finger erases.
4. But, THIS IS KEY, as soon as your finger is lifted, then it goes back to one finger pan mode.5 votes -
Text movement
Moving text is a bit difficult. As the text with new position coincides with that of the old one. As is seen from the image. Only position should be seen by us.

Add S-pen gyroscope support
The new Samsung devices have this neat gyroscope in the s pen and Samsung released the SDK so it would be awesome if you added the gestures (flick left in the air to undo, right to redo etc...) as air actions!

Think notable:
take notes while having an audio recording linked to the notes. Then, when you save the note and go back later you can circle a spot and hear what was said at that exact time. You could even listen to all of the lectures.

Maintain history
It's way too easy to lose the history for undo/redo. One just have to accidentally go back and boom, the history is all gone. Not good.
Suggest the app always maintains the last history so that one can simply return to the document and continue with complete undo/redo functionality.

Faster photo insertion with two separate buttons
Please consider an option that allows splitting the "add image" button into two separate buttons, "add from camera" and "add from gallery".
The reason I'm so picky about saving one click is, I'm using Squid to take notes during conferences, lectures or meetings, which I believe is a very common use case among Squid users. During note taking the person controlling the presentation will not wait for me to capture those photos. The faster I can get to the camera app, the more likely I'll actually be able to catch that specific slide I need.
On a related note, when…
