Default Eraser Style Choice

Kindle-like highliths
I believe there will be someone in the development team who has a kindle, so the feature is really simple.
In kindle you can highlight specif parts of the text and there is a highlights section, where you can see everything you highlighted on the PDF, so you export those highlights and then you have a summary of the book2 votes -
Improve PDF software for Japanese/Chinese characters being imported/exported
Since importing or exporting Japanese PDF with text information is garbled and unusable, please change the software related to the PDF function to one compatible with Japanese.

Text movement
Moving text is a bit difficult. As the text with new position coincides with that of the old one. As is seen from the image. Only position should be seen by us.

Method for erasing
Erasing with one finger is an idea with potential, but everything else on my phone uses one finger for panning -so I'm never going to learn it. So here's my idea:
1. One finger pans.
2. Double tap with one finger and it goes into erase mode. Some feedback should be given that this has happened.
3. Now one finger erases.
4. But, THIS IS KEY, as soon as your finger is lifted, then it goes back to one finger pan mode.5 votes -
Automatic close toolbox menu
Close Toolbox automatically when selection of tool is made ( after clicking on pen, the menu for choosing tool closes automatically) .. so: one click less.

Advance pages with a remote clicker
I frequently present on a Chromebook tablet with the keyboard folded under. I don't need to annotate every slide in the PDF, so would be nice to advance with a clicker as usual.

Ability to set a minimum line thickness for pressure sensitivity
With my S Pen the lines are almost invisible, when applying light pressure. An adjustable minimum thickness would really improve the feeling.

Add S-pen gyroscope support
The new Samsung devices have this neat gyroscope in the s pen and Samsung released the SDK so it would be awesome if you added the gestures (flick left in the air to undo, right to redo etc...) as air actions!

Re-evaluate your recent changes to typing and editing text
Your recent change to the user interface with text is nice, except it has created one major issue. When I am typing if the text box is low on a page it is hidden behind the keyboard, I cannot see what I am typing. Which is really annoying when trying to edit. Perhaps when the keyboard pops up, it does not cover the app, it pushed the app up so you can see the whole page.

More Default Note Options
Would be great to have several options for default notes. E.g. ability to set up a template with a combination of squid notes and imbedded pdfs which could be opened as needed

E ink support
Support or improvement for e ink note taking devices with active stylus, (sony epd, onyx boox, bouye likebook), this will require the app to not redraw the whole screen as an LCD display but as an EPD (and allowing some ghosting to reduce stylus latency, as do the native notes apps on these devices)
Also a grayscale UI, with maybe showing color names when hovering the pen over the available colors.23 votes -

Pen offset
By writing with my left hand i realized that the point of the S-Pen was always off by 5 pixels or so (depending on which angle you hold your pen). I'd recommend a setting that lets you finetune the calibration of the S-Pen manually.

fixed pen size on zoom in/out
When zooming in, the pen size will automatically adjust to the zoom level.
I would like to have the pen size not adapt to the zoom level so I can zoom into an area and take notes that are not relevant at a higher zoom level but are only fully visible when zoomin in again.8 votes -
[Pen Toolbox] S-Pen SDK Drawing Engine?
Isn't it possible to use the Samsung Drawing Engine (part of the S-Pen SDK) including the corresponding Pen interface (choosing pens, colors, saving them)?
The only thing missing to make Squid the one and only drawing tool besides Samsung S-note & Notes is a more convenient UI when it comes to pens. The current interface isn't really practical and brings - due to the lack of Pen- as well as Pen-savings options - a huge disadvantage against Notes.

Relational delete function
It would be nice if the delete function were changed so that the delete field was not absolute dimensions in relation to the whole page but relative to the screen size. So if you zoom in you can delete smaller parts.
