Assign to a Notebook from within Note
It would be really helpful if I could add a Note to a specified Notebook from within the Note. I will often create notes of a similar nature and move between them as I elaborate on each so I keep them grouped in a Notebook but when I add a new Note while in a Notebook, I have to navigate to the Recent Notes section to find it then assign a Notebook from the thumbnail view.

Fix pasting image from ChromeOS screen capture
Google recently updated the way screenshots/"Screen captures" work on ChromeOS, and ever since then I've been unable to paste screenshots directly into a Squid note as I had been able to do before - Squid claims there is "Nothing to paste" despite the fact that the screenshot is copied to the clipboard. I now have to follow the longer route of inserting the image from the location where ChromeOS stores it, but this is very annoying if I have to paste several screenshots into a note quickly (which is something I often have to do).

pen only mode
Add a pen only mode like the feature used by Wacom's Bamboo Paper app.
This feature would help users whose devices don't' have good palm rejection, and having a toggle pan tool for pen input in the hot bar could improve this feature.

Make text tool free

Add toggle between resizing/moving object
Most of the time I want to move object not resize them. When the object is small it's very easy to be resizing instead of moving. Leading to me wasting time zooming in/press the right location to move object.

Auto-Export PDF On Close Or On Next Wifi Connect
I often want to access an exported PDF on another device (exported and synced via cloud) almost immediately after editing it, or have access to it on another device when I get into a wifi location. The 6 hour minimum auto-export is way too long, and having to dig through menu options to export all every time I need a PDF is painful. It would be great if PDFs could be auto-exported on document close to cloud if in wifi or to cloud on next connect to wifi. Alternatively, export to local file system with user-specified directory would be great,…

Popup notification when erase
Reason:
The palm rejection don't work great on my tablet so I always accidentally erase contents when zooming or writing without noticing it. By the time I see the damage, I may not even remember what was there.
Proposed Fix:
Add an option to popup a notification on the top of the screen when an erase is triggered. Simply say erased and put a undo button next to it. This would notify users when they erase something, preventing accidental erase from happening unnoticed.

Accidental palm touch protection
I write with my s-pen and I keep accidently bumping my palm on the screen
causing myself to accidently write a random line I have to erase. So, having the option to prevent that would be nice to have as

Move / copy the page from one note to another
Often I would like to move or copy one or a few pages from one note to another, it is very tiring to have to select everything, to have to create a blank page and paste what was selected. It would be much more agile that way.

Hide templates
I'm often using dot grid paper (though not always so setting it as default isn't an option). Currently, I have to scroll three pages until I get to the templates (which is pretty exhausting on a big screen). It would be nice if I could hide the inch paper and other stuff I never use.

Navigate PDFs by Bookmarks
Often when I am working with very large PDFs in Squid it becomes quite unwieldy. In something like Adobe, there is a tab that lets you access the PDF bookmarks (i.e. jump to page 1173) to easily navigate around. Something like this would make it much easier to navigate around large PDFs.

Immersive mode
I need this a lot!
For some reason in Squid the status bar and on-screen buttons don't disappear like they do in games, this makes the app harder to use in a small screen.
I often find myself using 3rd party solutions to hide the those things (luckily solutions exist), but it would be nice to have them natively integrated to the app2 votes -

Add a stamp/sticker tool
I use Squid for a digital bullet journal and would really appreciate a stamp tool. I can just create colored dots but I think basic shapes or a star would be great.
