How do I fix my rear window tint that is bubbling?
I noticed small bubbles forming on my rear window tint, a few months after getting it done. At first, I tried to ignore them, thinking they would go away on their own, but they only got worse. The back of my car started looking old and uneven, and it bothered me a lot.
After searching a lot about this on Google, I clearly understand that bubbles usually happen because of trapped air or poor adhesive quality. Instead of peeling it off myself, I decided to take the careful route. I used a hairdryer on low heat to gently warm the tint, then smoothed out the bubbles using a plastic card wrapped in a microfiber cloth. This worked for the smaller bubbles, but not for the larger ones.
That is when I visited a car tinting Abu Dhabi specialist. They are the ones who told me my tint had been applied poorly and recommended replacing the entire film with a high-quality one. My rear window now looks flawless, and I have learned that sometimes it is better to invest in proper installation than trying to patch up a bad job that we really are not good in
