It would be really fundamental, I now have hundreds of notes and, although they are divided into folders, I can no longer find them.
The search function on the words of the title and perhaps labels(tag) would be enough.

Definitely of critical importance the longer the app is used.

A funktion to search for handwritten text in a note or/and inserted PDFs.

It's been years that people have been requesting this basic of a feature. What is wrong with the development team? Who doesn't add a search feature to a pdf app?

I am starting to long for a search function as my notes grow, I have to manually search. Something as simple as searching the note titles would be a great start and alleviate much of the pain I experience.

Agree with all the comments. Search function is a must have. I have a lot of notes and need the ability to search to find the file name and the notes within the file.
