Cropping imported image with lasso

Allowing to crop newly imported image or PDF via lasso would be awesome.

    How come the developers had not noticed this yet?

    1. The lasso cutting tool can not cut parts from pdf's or pictures.
    2. Im not able to rotate the item after cutting it.
