handwriting recognition and search functions
I want to know if these functions are planned to be implemented in the near future... although it seems like no other android apps support these features as well, but when compared to other competitors in other platforms such as Goodnotes or Notability, lacking these features is quite disappointing.

How long is Squid going to take to add this feature that virtually all handwritten note-taking apps have?

Still waiting on this in 2022. I've switched to Nebo for now, but would love to move back to Squid if JUST THIS ONE THING was implemented.
This is the ONE most vital feature still missing from this app. It's 2021 and there are 300+ votes on this!
I still have to use Noteshelf because of this :(
Its end of 2020.
I want to search in notes, for words, so that its easy while studying.
All other apps have it. Please bring it ASAP.

I want to buy search function at least within note names
It's 2020. Powerful competitors of Squid such as Samsung Notes and Nebo, Noteshelf support searching based on handwriting recognition so well but still no news from Squid about HWR.
I've paid almost double the price of other note-taking apps for Squid and lack of HWR is quite disappointing. What makes you hesitate to support HWR?
It's 2020 and Squid still doesn't support handwriting recognition/search. These days even other Android apps now support these features. Samsung notes and now Noteshelf as well.
As you guys know, Noteshelf, originally from the iOS market is now enthusiastically developing its Android version in order to take the market share away from you guys.
It's time to enhance functionality of Squid.

Tbm acho, poderia ser pelo menos mais parecido com esses citados
Myscript Nebo has handwriting recognition, but no PDF import. Metamoji Note also has handwriting recognition through Mazec3, but it's awful. iOS has both Goodnotes 5 and Notability which support handwriting recognition, if either of those applications came to android, Squid is toast.

This function is very important for me as well. If the develop have no plan to make it , I have to go with Ipad. Very Disappointed.
if these features seem to consume too much battery then allowing users to turn on/off these features on every page or specific page would be one possible solution

I would like to see a response from the Squid developer team. This feature is very important to me.
if these features aren't planned to be supported at all, then i think i gotta consider buying an iPad and other note-taking apps...
