Insert audio recording and playback
I like to record lectures as they are given and have several solutions for doing so. I'd love to see it as a unified function in a single app, and Papyrus is seriously one of my favorites. :)

May I recommend that all votes for this idea are transferred to the idea of enhancing the app like livescribe. This idea will than be covered but you will get more than just that ;)

Skip this, same idea already posted... rookie mistake :)

Like livescribe, allow recordation of audio whereby it also connects to the written lines. If you then select a word in a note it will replay the audio as expressed at the time of making that note.

For a smooth working app that allows me to include recording/playback of both the annotating and concurrent audio, I'm willing to pay a SUBSTANTIAL premium. It would allow me to replace my smartboard with something more useful, and even khanacademy.org. My students would be able to either replay my classroom presentations and see the end result of my presentation, via a browser - reinforcing the day's lessons.

Top needed feature for instructors wanting students to see & hear the process of solving a math problem. Or for students preparing a class multimedia presentation & submitting it for review.
I also use Note 10.1.
Must be able to export a recorded note in a format most any browser can use to playback: the view into the note, strokes/cursor hovering/erasure/insertions..... & audio - as it was built.
During the recorded building of a note, allow for mistakes by allowing for the undo/backing up and again proceeding/recording the audio & annotation. -

This is the most important feature IMO.

This is probably the most obvious missing feature in this app.

I tried mp3 recorder in the background of papyrus on note 10.1 it works great so please implement time referenced drawings with audio recording/playback.

The most important feature of a recorder in papyrus would be to sync the time of the audio recording with what was written at that time. It would be brilliantly use full just imagine your notes in class being as synced up as they are at the kahnacademy. Your rival app lecture notes has this feature as a premium item and I purchased it because its description had the synced feature listed. Unfortunately it was implemented poorly as you can see in the negative comments because the sync was just audio time synced with the vertical scroll level. It appears that Lecture Notes actually doesn't use individual vectors for each line but instead has. You drawing pixels and so this function is nit really feasible for their app, but papyrus is perfect for it.
Second comment: another problem is that the pen hitting the glass is much Lauder than the lecturer. I am no aure how to get around this maybe its not so bad on a soft tip pen like the galaxy note 2 has anyone tried ?
