add default zoom and fit page to screen width options
We’ve added default zoom values you can set in the settings for both fixed size pages and infinite pages. You can also fit to width/height/screen or quickly jump to a specific zoom level from the zoom popup. All these features are available in Papyrus 1.0 (available now in Google Play). Please feel free to continue providing your feedback here or submit new ideas regarding these features.
Thanks for your feedback and patience!

I'm totally agree it's a fundamental option. I use papyrus instead snote and a want the default zoom, a way to use muttiwindow and insert an image from the clipboard. Then the app will be perfect for me.

The fact that each page opens in 100%, forcing me to do a two-fingers zoom-out EVERY time is really annyoing and the one single thing that kept me from buying the app.
If at least there was a "second" two-finger double-tap so that if zoom level is already 100% it would zoom out to fit screen width (or, for me even better: show the entire page), I could live with it. IMHO the most important missing feature right now. I'd love to hear a word from the developers if there's something planned (implementation) or not?

I actually like my pages bigger, about150%, due to the fact that my pen tracks better. Allowing me to set all notebook pages to a default size would be great. But with that, a smaller window to show where I am on the current page would be that much better

Pleaseadd this feature. This is by far my biggest headache with this app. Other than that it is perfect.

This is, in my opinion, the biggest drawback of Papyrus. I use the app frequently - during lectures and to jot down notes. It's frustrating having to fiddle with zoom and pan constantly.

Yes, the lack of this feature is why I'm going to stop using this app. I want a piece of paper to write on that is the size of my display. I don't want to mess with zooming and panning for every single document

When are you going to enable this feature?

This one simple feature would make this app prefect. All it needs is a default zoom level which can be set alongside the other page settings. It is so frustrating to have to zoom every new page to fit the screen. I use A5 pages, which have to be zoomed to 43% each and every time I insert a new page.

This is a must have feature, because every time l open any notes, I have to zoom out from 100% to 75% in order to fit the screen before I start jotting note. I hope the developer(s) plan this simple feature.

Id like to see the whole note when it opens. Then zoom in from there with two fingers.

this is a must have. Default Zoom to 100% is too big for devices with smaller screen sizes!

Fit to screen width- my single biggest frustration during writing

Yep, that's what I meant by default zoom, for example 94% on a letter page is the width of my screen

Good point, alternatively zooming could snap to predefined values, like 20%, 40%, 60% etc.
