Fast scrolling
I often want to look back through earlier parts of my note. This is currently slow. Perhaps cached images could be used to make scrolling fast.

Or even just render more than what is displayed so scrolling doesn't immediately leave you looking at a blank chess grid.

I wish I could scroll more easily when I'm just reading and reviewing the file.

As a premium user, I see after almost 5 years this issue posted, scrolling through notes still annoying. Shows only blank pixels. Will you fix this or what is your plan?

Also an optional solution to this would be strongly damped scrolling. The scroll animation will stop much sooner than now and thus the reload will happen more rapidly.

Agreed. The fact that the screen only redraws the note once it's not moving any more makes finding things in a large note really difficult. Having it redraw a few times a second would make it choppy, but at least it would be usable.
