Quick color selection panel (free-floating or static)
Selecting a new color while in a fast paced note taking environment is cumbersome to say the least. It's too many clicks to switch from one color to a new one then back again. This can be solved by either allowing tablets to have some color circle choices spread out over the top menu bar area (tons of empty space up there) or have a little floating panel with a few "favorite" colors to quickly tap and go.
Take for instance, to choose a new color you have to:
*Tap the color circle drop down menu
*Choose new color
*Tap back on the screen to close menu
*Write a little (mostly use color for emphasis on a word/line)
*repeat above steps to get back to other color
One click is all it should take to swap out a color. Adding a few color circles at the top for quick select seems like a simple solution with a lot of added value.

Please create a color-spoiled tool function. I use squid for my diary like goodnote. Thank you for making a good application. However, it is inconvenient to designate the color of the pen. I want to choose the color quickly by adding the color ring image.

I would like the option to save the colours I use most and not just see them appear at the bottom of the tab as my recent colours used.

I totally agree! This seems essential to me.

Some times when I take notes, I like to triverse between 3 colors: black, blue and green. However, it takes me an effort to press the color icon and look for the color I want to choose even when I type the smallest details and I frequently use only those colors. I would like to have a small bar that has like 3 colors of you choice available where you can drag it around and change colors on the go. That would be really great. Thank you squid team!

Add custom buttons to the top so the user can create their own preferences and can access them with one tap.

I am a uni student and use a samsung chromebook plus. It would be amazing to have a color switch button to switch back and forth from the color chosen like red. So I could write with black and then click a button on top to switch to red to make an important note and click it again to go to black.

I often want to write in 2 or maybe 3 colors, switching between them very frequently. It means I have to do a lot of tapping on the color box to switch back and forth all the time. Could you make a swipe on the color patch in the toolbar move to previous color? Perhaps swipe left move to previous, swipe right move to next most recent, this way we can access 3 colors very easily with as few touches as possible and no extra toolbar options. Bonus points - swipe down extends the color box like a dropdown control and as I swipe down I move through my color history.

Going from highlighting to writing to inserting text in different colors with a stylus is cumbersome. If the color tab could be included under the tool tab, this would be much easier to accomplish. An easier way to fix this would be to move the recent colors section over to the bottom of the tool tab and everything you need would be available with one tap of the stylus.

I would like to have the ability to select a color without selecting the pen tool first. To possibly have the option to partition a portion of the screen to a color selection, this would greatly ease taking color coated notes.
