Disable notification panel on Samsung tablet
The Samsung Note 10.1 has the notification panel in the lower right corner. This is activated a lot when writing in Papyrus because the palm of your hand is resting there. Just like you can disable the back button, it would be nice to disable the notification panel to pop up, unless touched with the pen for example. Completely disabling touch input would not be such a good idea because for some functions touch input is handy in Papyrus.

what about a page viewer showing all the pages in a notebook, formula recognition like Snote and a memo that can record lectures from a far
I believe this is the onky thing missing from papyrus- a truly innovative application for students like me trying to et into University!!!!!! I know it seems a lot but a student will truly benefit if the developer include this!!!!!!! For the developers I thank u sooo much for whar u have offered :)

3 things needs to be done for the users
Add favorite pens feature that can be accessed with icons at the empty space for now. Quick access to my pens that I use several times will shorten lots of time.
Let the users add JPEG , PNG, GIF, etc.... If this was supported, I did not have to use S-Note to make a screenshot.
Add text typing supported. Sometimes, typing is a little better than my hand writing.

Smoother lines and resume documents to last position (not just page but view)
When writing small script, lines can be somewhat jagged. Add an option to smooth the lines automatically.
Also, when resuming a document, add option to resume to the last view that was open when the document was last open (pdf position on page).

that we were able to choose the dropbox folder for the backup
It would be nice that we were able to choose in what folder we want to backup in dropbox
9 votesUnfortunately this is a restriction created by Dropbox. Apps are only granted permission to a specific folder inside your Dropbox, which Dropbox chooses. We would need to request permission to access your entire Dropbox in order to let you choose where to store the backup, which most users would consider unnecessary access to their data.
We encourage you to contact Dropbox about allowing you to specify which folder an app has access to as this sounds like it could be a good solution for your situation.

one time payment
I fail to see how it is fair for you to charge monthly fees for features that are installed on my device. It is unfair to attempt to charge me on recurring basis for features and functions that do not require recurring costs on your end. BTW I did pay for all the upgrades back when it was just papyrus, so I don't think I'm being cheap by only asking to pay once per feature.
6 votesWe do have recurring costs on our end (e.g. PDF support). We are also constantly developing and improving the app. We hope that our premium users find the app worth much more than the small amount of money we ask for!

I'd like to see more functions available in MS paint. I wish the app had more artistic/design functionality.
Take MS paint functions and apply them to this app. I realize this would take a fair amount of effort but I truly believe that you'd see a lot more paying customers of those more interested in the design aspect. In addition to that plain backgrounds should be available for artwork. Truth be told there really isn't much out there as far as good design/artwork apps. I'm certain people other than myself would be willing to buy an "upgrade" to unlock said functions.
6 votesUnfortunately, Squid and MS Paint are fundamentally different. Squid is a vector based note-taking app, while MS Paint is a pixel (raster) based drawing app.

Input zoom,palm rejection,eliminate type dims and input box; and import files.
1: Please provide a zoomed input space. Some tablets such as the nexus 7 do not have an active pen, it would be easier for users to write more naturally with a zoomed input space.
2: Please make a adjustable palm rejection.
3: please eliminate the dimmed screens /type input box for the typing function. It would be much easier to just type right on the note.
4: please add the function of importing pdfs and powerpoints and make them a layer which we can draw on them.

Backup Services to SD card and OwnCloud and polish language, I can help with translation.
For those once who won't share with DropBox or Box and have OwnCloud. Maybe easier could be an implementation of backup without cloud services - simply to SD card? Start localizing the app, we have our own languages too :)

Ability to "snap to grid" for lines/shapes but able to of for pen mode
Snap to grid would improve smart art ability. Also a ruler or major/minor grid system to easily draw proportional figures. The ability to back up between to devices tablet to phone, etc. to have the same notes on both devices. Especially ability to backup wifi direct or bluetooth to allow backup without internet access.

color selection
When selecting a color for the stylus, the Recently used colors are right at the bottom. This makes us have to traverse all the way down to use a recently used selection . If u could shift the recently used colors to the top area, it will optimize the stylus movement to make a recently made selection.

It is easier to use the s pen on galaxy tab210.1...i love the app ....but finding it hard to use an ordinary stylus!!!
